My Story
A Culinary Beginning
My passion for cooking ignited in high school, where I sought refuge from the hustle and bustle of family life in the kitchen with my grandmother. It was there, surrounded by the warmth of homemade meals, that I found my love for culinary creation, away from the teasing of my older brothers.
Professional Growth
My career took me from the vibrant food scenes of Chicago to the kitchens of New York City. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the industry’s finest chefs, including Stephanie Izard at Girl & The Goat in Chicago, and in Los Angeles, and April Bloomfield in New York City. Each experience honed my skills and deepened my appreciation for the craft.
The Pasta Journey
In 2020, I embarked on a new chapter, focusing on the intricate art of pasta making under the mentorship of Evan Funke and Marc Vetri. This period was transformative, allowing me to refine my techniques and develop a unique style that blends tradition with innovation.
Pop-Up Events and Beyond
Today, I host exclusive pasta pop-up events, like those at a local wine shop in Huntington Beach California, sharing my love for handmade pasta and Italian cuisine. My recent endeavors include themed dinners, such as a meticulously curated Italian feast in Downtown LA, and luxurious yacht dinner events in the Summer.
